Fitted to concrete base without issue.
Fitted this to a concrete base and inserted the ball bearings. No issue and will see what longevity is like as it is 50 feet from the sea. The plugs and bolts were of good quality and I had no issue with these compared to previous makes I have seen and used previously. The ball bearings took some hammering to get them to fix within the hex, but otherwise no issues. I drilled pilot holes and then used the 16mm drill bit. Unless you do this everyday use a pilot drill as the 16mm drill bit will wander all over the place.A huge mouth for fitting a chain. I fitted a chunky motorbike chain through this with no issues.

Robust looking bracket, security balls wouldnt stay in place
Robust bracket and mounting, however, unable to get the steel balls to stay fitted in the ends of the socket head screws despite increasing levels of hammer attention.

Exceptionally solid.
I wall mounted mine for ease of use, it will secure my bike. You will need a 16mm drill bit, and an Allen key. I read the instruction a couple of time before I started and the installation was pretty quick, after waiting overnight charging my cordless drill to full power!!! There’s plenty of room within the bracket. Very pleased. (You can make your anchor “permanent” by blocking the bolts’ screw holes with the small ball bearings that are supplied. I’m living with my position for a few days before I do.)Edit: (with second picture) I’ve now blanked out the screws with the ballbearings supplied. Rather fiddly job if you’ve mounted the bracket on a wall. I used a tiny bit of Blu Tack.

Very sturdy and secure
Very strong and secure. Need 2 buy a 16mm drill bit to install them is the only thing to be aware of.
