Hot peppers
These were purchased for my mother and my husband. We canned several Jars of he peppers and so far they are turning out wonderful. The price was very reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth. We did have any molding issues and the color if he peppers were very vibrant. The smell and the taste were spot on.

Detailed Explanation of Feature Ratings
Have been using product 5 X per week for over 6 mo. in Indian-inspired recipes in a remote locale where upon arrival, they are immediately sorted and frozen (laid out in paper toweling inside well sealed freezer zip-locs).Warmth rating (5 star) is not the amount of heat relative to other green Thai chile peppers so much as the amount of heat or "picante-ness" relative to my subjective sense of ideal. Depending on the dish, an average four serving recipe is going to get 1 - 4 of these chiles, seeds removed. I have used more on occasion and found that at 6 or 7, they are prone to overwhelm. Again, this is highly subjective as well as subject to the varying size of the individual chiles. The flavor (5 star) is crisp, clean, and has a super-subtle tang of tartness. I have perhaps compromised the aroma by freezing them but upon thawing, they do have a pleasant green (reminds me somewhat of a well watered lawn the next day after mowing) smell that in concentrated doses can set off a fit of capsaicin induced coughing and/or sneezing.Value (4 star) is acceptable because of where we are located. These arrive to our door, saving what would be a minimum of four and a half hours driving time to shop for them in a store. The first order I received had a disappointing percentage well past their prime which I may have contributed to by quarantining the package, instead of opening and freezing without delay. A subsequent order arrived, however, in great freshness shape. I think we will get at least 4 mo. (if not more) from the second 1 lb. order at our current rate of consumption, cooking for two.Depending possibly on your region, you may be taking your chances with shipping and especially in summer must hope that your chiles won't be exposed to too much heat in transit. My first shipment box arrived warm to the touch, and as alluded to, a fair portion of the chiles were beyond usable.Over-all, the chiles themselves are quite excellent. They present a difference from SW U.S. and Northern Mexico chiles in their flavor profiles and, used judiciously, can unobtrusively liven up a dish that might be harboring other signature flavors. I am happy to recommend 'em to you.

Nearly Half Were Spoiled
Had to give this one star because I'm not allowed to give zero. I had to throw away nearly half of the shipment. I guess that's not surprising since it was shipped by standard Amazon shipping and took 5 days to arrive unlike what the description says - priority 2-day USPS shipping. If you're not on the left coast, don't order this. The peppers that remained were good tasting, but not nearly as spicy (hot) as I was expecting. Most were green with just a few red ones.

Great Value
I had to throw away about 25 % of the peppers because they were rotting. The rest of them are very hot and delicious! Still a very good value!! I would buy them again.

So fresh and so clean clean!!
Thai green chillies are almost impossible to find in local grocery stores. I have been hunting around with no luck. I searched on Amazon and took a shot and bough them. Wow, what a surprise. A box arrived in about 2 weeks with absolutely fresh green chillies, liked they'd just been picked. If you're a heat seeker in the culinary realm, Thai Green Chillies are an absolute game-changer. These small, vibrant green peppers pack an intense punch that can elevate any dish from ordinary to extraordinary. A staple ingredient in Thai cuisine, these fiery gems are not just about heat – they bring a unique flavor profile that's both exhilarating and addictive. When it comes to spiciness, Thai Green Chillies rank high on the Scoville scale, delivering a sharp, intense heat that can ignite your taste buds. However, it's the complex flavor beneath the heat that truly makes them shine. These chillies have a subtly sweet and fruity undertone that balances the fiery kick, making each bite an exhilarating journey for the palate.

Half-rotten.
Came half rotten. Had to spend about 20 mins to pick out the rotten ones. If you absolutely cannot find fresh Thai chillies where you live, go for it.
