Jonathan Green(10870) Black Beauty Sunny Grass Seed - Cool Season Lawn Seed (25 lb)

I sowed in the seed last fall on 18 November, now that is June six months later the seed is flourishing and doing very well. so far so good we will see what it looks like this fall. Sunny is to be good for south slopes.

I reseeded my lawn with this after aerating, and it is definitely improving the look of the lawn quickly. We had a lot to tackle moving in to this place with a lawn that had been neglected for years and was loaded with weeds and crabgrass.Petitti‘s had recommended this brand grass seed several years back and it doesn’t disappoint

Was up and green and in 6 days shown in photo. You must keep watering as it so all 3 varieties grass in it germinates in 2-3 weeks... If you let the seed dry out it will die like any other grass seed.... I put down grub killer and seed starter fertilizer. Worked seed with back of steel leaf rake about 1/8 inch and Kept seed and ground it was in moist. Seed must have contact with soil, if the tap root comes out and does not touch soil the seed will die. The ground temp should at least 50 degrees.. I like fall the best because ground is warm.. You can have warm air in spring but that doesn't mean the ground is warm. I started this seed late but it came up.

I re-seeded a 15 foot round area. Seed germinated in 9-10 days. Results are remarkable. Makes the rest of my lawn look pale.

Slice seeded in Early October in Southern Ohio. Watered religiously 2x a day. Hardly any grown after 8 days. Over seeded with broadcaster 25 lbs of the “generic Lowe’s stuff and has growth in 5 days of less religious watering.
