A Versatile Skincare Solution with Proven Results
Bio-Oil Original Skincare Oil has earned its reputation as a go-to product for various skin concerns, and after using it consistently, I can see why. This 60ml bottle packs a punch when it comes to addressing multiple skin issues.**Effectiveness:**- Stretch Marks: I noticed a gradual improvement in the appearance of my stretch marks after about 8 weeks of consistent use. While they didn't disappear completely, they became less noticeable.- Scars: The oil seemed to soften the appearance of some minor scars, making them blend better with surrounding skin.- Uneven Skin Tone: There was a subtle improvement in overall skin tone, particularly in areas with slight discoloration.**Texture and Application:**The oil has a light, non-greasy texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. It doesn't leave a heavy residue, which is a big plus. The pump dispenser makes application easy and hygienic.**Scent:**The fragrance is mild and pleasant, not overpowering. It dissipates quickly, so it won't interfere with your perfume.**Ingredients:**Rich in Vitamin E and plant extracts, the formulation feels nourishing. The inclusion of PurCellin Oil™ helps in easy absorption and spreading.**Versatility:**One of the best aspects of this product is its multi-use nature. It's suitable for face and body, making it a convenient addition to any skincare routine.**Value for Money:**A little goes a long way with this product. The 60ml bottle lasted me about 2-3 months with daily use on targeted areas.**Pros:**- Multipurpose skincare solution- Non-greasy formula- Suitable for all skin types- Visible results with consistent use- Pleasant, subtle scent**Cons:**- Results may vary and take time to show- May not be suitable for those with extremely sensitive skin (patch test recommended)**Overall Impression:**Bio-Oil Original Skincare Oil is a solid product that delivers on most of its promises. While it's not a miracle worker, consistent use does yield noticeable improvements in skin texture and appearance. It's particularly effective for dry skin and as a preventive measure against stretch marks. If you're looking for a versatile skincare oil that addresses multiple concerns, this is definitely worth trying. Just remember that patience is key – give it time to work its magic!

Good for facial massages
It goes well with guashas and face rollers. Not very comedogenic. It’s just great.

Do not buy
Its myth that you will get rid of stretch marks or pregnancy marks by using any kind of oils -- total waste of money

It works but slowly
I tried it for strech marks. I could see slow results. After finishing one bottle I ordered another, and in use of 2 bottles the difference was clear and marks faded away. I used it for 4 months continuously after bath.

Hazardous Product - Never use it..
Just see the product ingredients..they are using banned chemicals..BotanicalsCalendula Officinalis Flower Extract (Calendula Oil)Lavandula Angustifolia Oil (Lavender Oil)Rosmarinus Officinalis Leaf Oil (Rosemary Oil)Anthemis Nobilis Flower Oil (Chamomile Oil)VitaminsRetinyl Palmitate (Vitamin A)Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)Oil baseParaffinum Liquidum - This is a crude oil, liquid paraffin. When you use it, you're basically applying liquid fuel to the skin. It may feel good on the skin as these products often do because they are an occlusive and provide that barrier. This, really, though, serves no benefit to the skin and there are many better natural oils on the market.TriisononanoinCetearyl EthylhexanoateIsopropyl MyristateGlycine Soja OilHelianthus Annuus Seed OilBHT – Chances are you have heard of a toxic chemical being removed from many nail polishes on the market called toluene. BHT is essentially substituted toluene. It is harmful. According to the National Library of Medicine HazMap, BHT is considered to me a "known immune system toxicant." Animal studies have also shown that in low doses, that BHT causes negative effects to the brain and nervous system. This study was published by the Journal of Medicinal Chemistry in 1980 and has yet to be refuted. There is a host of bans and restrictions on BHT across the globe, yet it is still used here. What troubles me most is that Bio-Oil is used by many pregnant women on stretch marks and one has to wonder about the effect it may have on unborn children.BisaboloFragrance (Rose)Parfum - artificial fragrances like this are the leading cause of skin reactionsAlpha-Isomethyl Ionone Amyl Cinnamal - highly allergenic, fragrance ingredient is an alcohol, even though the label doesn't say "amyl cinnamal alcohol" as it should. Also a known toxicant to the immune system in humans.Benzyl Salicylate - UV absorber. Does have salicylic acid as a component, which is not to be used by pregnant women.CitronellolCoumarin - You may not be familiar with the name Coumarin, but are probably familiar with itsrelatives, Coumadin or Warfarin, blood thinning medication and Tonka Bean, a fragrance ingredient. In high doses, all can be lethal. Coumarin is found in the seeds of the Tonka Bean. Coumarin is on the EU' list of banned and/or restricted ingredients and several studies have shown there to be many systemic effects in low doses. To think that this is in here and may very well be absorbed into the bloodstream is very alarming, especially since there are links to cancer. This is found in this product as a fragrance ingredient.Eugenol - a denaturant and fragrance component. Highly toxic. On the EU's banned/restricted list. The National Library of Medicine HazMap calls this a "known human immune system toxicant."FarnesolGeraniol - Masking fragrance, toning agent. Known to be a strong toxin; banned or restricted in other countries; a known environmental toxin Hydroxycitronellal -Yet another masking fragrance! A known immune system toxicant; also banned or restricted in the EU and other areas Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene CarboxaldehydeLimonene - skin sensitizer; for perfume. Restricted/banned in other countriesLinalool -Masking fragrance; shown to be hazardous, banned/restricted for use in other countriesColorOrange: CI 26100 (Red 17) - This is officially classified by the FDA as a red colorant (Red 225) and data has shown this to have bioaccumulative effects and would not be considered eco-friendly by any stretch.
