Have done two of these and they are always great fun. The o my reason I didn’t rank 5 on this one as we played with 8 people and 2 of the characters may as well not have been included as their ‘secret’ wasn’t the most interesting.But I understand as you have to cull certain characters in order for it to serve a variety of group sizes.Would definitely order another game from here.

Brilliant murder mystery game. We swapped genders to really confuse matters. Such a laugh hamming up the characters and role playing. Come with booklets to send to guests and name cards. There were 7 of us and everyone really enjoyed themselves. Sent invites out early so everyone could dress up as their characters. I’ve played another one in the series and that was just as good fun

This was bought for a Christmas Eve game for the family. It was enjoyable and generally well designed. There are a few problems however which detract from the game design which the manufacturers could easily remedy. The premise is that the culprit has motive, means and opportunity just like an episode of death in paradise. There was though too much emphasis on sexual motives, clandestine affairs between characters. This was a bit over played and unnecessary, the designers could use other motives and families could then involve younger family members without embarrassment or having to "censor" some of the scenarios. Secondly, the instructions say that named male or female characters can be played by additional p[layers of the opposite sex. Because of the emphasis on sexual motive this doesn't work.
