This is great for embroidering in my comfy recliner. It can sit on my lap or I can sit it between my legs. It articulates to hold the hoop at whatever angle you need. The only thing missing is for the hoop clamp piece to rotate 360 for easy access to the back of your work. Then it would be perfect. I still give it two thumbs up for quality and usefulness.

Well balanced with a solid wood base and the adjustment options for the 3 point hinge holds tightly but...the finishing.1. The piece that you attach a hoop is plastic, mine came with really obvious casting seams, a weird large dent in the side, and none of the excess plastic was cleaned off of the seam edges. The faux screw if the piece does seem to hold a hoop just fine.2. The wood is discolored, uneven, clearly looks like thin wood boards with particle board compressed between, missing the plastic separator disks in a few places, and the glue that assists the bottom screws to hold the main base pieces together is visibly overflowing and wasn't cleaned. The piece that holds the plastic hoop holder wasn't drilled all the way through so I had to force it the rest of the way onto the screw and created splinters. Granted this is on the inside of the hand turn to attach at the 3rd anchor point and isn't visible.This is not what I expected from Nurge.

This hoop fits me perfectly. I can sit on it and it bends and stretches to come right to me to work on my embroidery. Since it uses my favorite hoops it is securely held.

It fits only their hoops and frames. Regular frames, stretcher bars and hoops are too big! What a disappointment.

I can’t believe I just now discovered this frame. I have done embroidery and cross stitching for years and have struggled with different styles of hoops and frames. This is adaptable to whatever your needs are. I LOVE it!!

This has allowed me to continue slow stitch despite my carpal tunnel so I am thankful. It is sturdy and even works on a table. I love the adjustability. My cheap hoops worked okay but kept slipping. I bought a Nurge square hoop and it holds better but still not as good as I would prefer. You can’t rotate it to access the back but it’s not a problem; just loosen the knob and tile it upward. Overall I’m very happy.

Den stickständer finde ich sehr schön, ich verstehe nur nicht warum bei dem Preis von fast 70€ der schraubkopf zum einklemmen des stickrahmens aus Plastik sein muss. Das ist schon fast unverschämt und absolut unnötig. Ich habe aber keine vergleichbare Alternative mit so einem verstellbaren Arm gefunden also habe ich ihn behalten. Ich hoffe das die Halterung nicht so schnell kaputt geht.
