First one came missing parts, but replacement looks great!
Our initial order actually came with missing parts (the center piece and the ball were missing), so we had to reach out to the customer service, who informed that I actually needed to go through Amazon to get the replacement. The response was very quick (within a single business day), so I was very happy about that. It was easy enough to go through the site to order the replacement (though I do have to return the original item, which is a bit of a pain), and it came fairly quickly (within 2 business days). The replacement item looks great - the installation requires some force to get all the tabs in (more so than other similar installations that I have done), but one they are in, it is very solid. I loved the fact that it came with the air pump as well - the ball comes without air, so you can use the included pump (which is actually pretty solid) to put air in it. The playing surface looks great - the ball bounces off of it very well - I plan on using this more once spring comes around outside using a small-ish outdoor table that will fit the playing surface on the tabletop.

If you love spikeball, you'll play anywhere
This is a fun little version of spikeball you can play anywhere. Instead of a round net you use a 18in. Padded disc that can sit on the ground or table. Pretty much anywhere with a flat surface. The game uses a traditional spikeball ball which comes with a small hand pump and needle, which seems to be a pretty good quality. Which is very convenient. The base is easily snapped together from three separate pieces. Would be better if it had a small storage bag to hold the pad pump and ball in. This is a fun alternative when the weather doesn’t let us go outside and play our favorite game.

go with the original for outside play
Ehhh- just OK. The original is so so much better, if you’re looking for an easy game for inside, this might be it, but you’re better off going with the original and playing outside. The ball still goes flying all over the place and if you have items you don’t want damaged, you don’t want your kids playing this inside.

Great indoor fun!
The media could not be loaded. I got this for family days. Because my kids are pretty coordinated, I figured this would be easy enough for them to have some fun. It supposed to play like a reverse volleyball, where you hit the ball onto the base instead of over a net. I'm sure that once the kids get playing, they'll invent whatever rules they feel like playing by.The game table sets up easily, in just four pieces. They snap together quite tightly, giving a flat surface for the ball. The ball comes deflated, and they include a cute pump for pumping up the ball. I guess you can set it for whatever firmness works best for you. You'll need a decent playing area, I can easily see someone spiking the ball and really getting it traveling. It shows the game being played on a table , and it is called a tabletop game, but I can see it being played with the board on the floor just as well. I think this will be fun, and I will update when we get playing.

Ordered twice. Both times missing parts.
I ordered the Tabletop Spikeball Kit. The first kit didn't haven't the center part of the board or a pump. When I requested a refund, a new box came it included all of the other pieces but it didn't include a ball or a pump.

stay-at-home fun
if you're anything like me, you've never heard of spikeball before. but as a kid in the US, you did play 4 square. and if you're anything like me, it was super fun. for the inner kid in all of us, or for a nice low profile icebreaker/team-building activity, enter the spikeball mini. there's a larger format game that is designed for the outdoors, but this indoor version is COVID-friendly and foolproof into the near future, especially with the cold winter weather outside.the kit is easy to assemble. three pieces lock together to make a padded surface which should sit on a table. a hand pump with a needle and the slowest pump ability i've ever seen is included for the inflatable ball. take a peek at youtube to learn about the game rules. definitely planning to have this out for my upcoming housewarming party.in the meantime, as i write this, my cat has claimed the pump for reasons unknown to me, and also the ball. double duty games!

Still fun, but not really recommended for indoor use
I love the regular Spikeball game; it’s a staple of ours every summer (especially when we go to the beach) and we always have a lot of fun with it. I got really excited when I saw this mini version advertised that it could be played indoors. Spikeball that can be enjoyed year round - what’s not to love?Unfortunately, the game’s not as fun as the full sized version. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a good time, it’s just a little harder to play since it’s smaller. Also, even though it claims to be playable indoors, it’s really not. Spikeball is a game that’s pretty physical and requires a lot of movement, and the ball can move unpredictably and erratically depending on the players. Both kids and adults have a tendency to hit the ball pretty hard, and my wife and I had to take it outside pretty fast before something got broken. I’d really only recommend playing this indoors if you have a big, open area (like a basement with a lot of floor space).Overall, it’s good, just not as great as I hoped it would be. It’s still a lot of fun and I’d recommend it to people that really like playing Spikeball (like myself), but it doesn’t beat the original experience.
