Love this bowl. Very sturdy and the rubberised base means it doesn’t slide all over the kitchen floor. Comes out of the dishwasher nice and clean and stacks beautifully with other bowls the same so it takes up less space in our cupboard. It doesn’t slow my dogs’ eating as much as the plastic bowls with swirly innards but it is better than a normal bowl. It probably takes my dogs a minute to get through 400g of raw meat with this, 15 seconds in a normal bowl and about 3 minutes with a plastic swirly one. But there is lots of waste with one of those as they can’t get every last bit out so I’m hoping this slows their eating down enough to prevent the dreaded bloat. All in all, a brilliant bowl so we’ve bought 3 each for our 2 dogs 😀

Bought this for my spaniel as he wolfs down his food without chewing. I've not tried one of these feeders before and wanted to try this one as it is stainless steel and thought it would last longer than the other plastic ones you see.It's well made, good quality.Seeing that it was 14" diameter I thought it would be big enough for him, and it does help in slowing him down. HOWEVER, I would advise you to buy slightly bigger than you think as I recon it would work better if it was a bigger bowl and the food was more spread out(I fill his bowl right up so he's still able to wolf down some of the biscuits at the beginning).I can't compare this bowl with other products on the market but I do recommend you give this one a go!

I bought this after my Dalmatian began to suffer from bouts of regurgitation of food. After an expensive trip to the vets revealed no sinister cause, internet research suggested that it could be due to him wolfing his food down too quickly, causing bloat-like symptoms and causing him to regurgitate his food. The recommendation was to ensure he eats his food slowly.I bought this bowl after previously having one of this plastic maze-like bowls which worked, but which he chewed to destruction to get at the food!This bowl is solid stainless steel, is constructed well and is dishwasher safe. It has a rubber mat on the bottom to help stop it shift around during mealtimes. It won't stop it entirely, and if your dog is as excitable about food as mine, nothing will stop the bowl moving about. However, it does help considerably.It has helped slow his eating down, such that we have had no further problems. You may need to consider splitting the food up and allowing a few minutes to pass between each to allow the food to go down. Also, the larger size is suitable only for dogs with large heads so that their snouts can't get into the gaps to eat, thus slowing feeding down. Be aware of the size differences when selecting a bowl.Overall, very happy

Great product, really slows my dog down when eating. Mine are raw fed, so I flatten the mince around the edge and it works really well. The rubber base also stops the bowl from slipping around. I have put it in the dishwasher multiple times now with no problems.

I got this for my dog who practically inhales his food he eats do fast. He already had a stainless steel bowl so I wanted to get something similar. He has been using it for a few months now. Initially it did take him ages to eat from it but now he has speeded up as he got used to it. Even so it still takes him twice as long as it did. It is also very sturdy, washes great and has a gripper underneath so it doesn’t slide all over as he eats.

We got this for our 11 month lab who has destroyed the plastic outward hound slow feeders in days. They are great but they can’t cope with his chewing power and he has also learnt to tip them over. This one is hard for him to pick up and tip over and the non slip bottom keeps it pretty still so he’s not scooting all over the floor. However the speed of eating is basically the same as a normal bowl as the bump in the middle does nothing to slow him down. But all in all a solid bowl. The large is massive by the way - best for big dogs that eat only 1-2 big meals.

Our dogs tend to eat on the rather quick side, so we have bought numerous anti gulp bowls.This bowl is fantastic when comparing quality, and sturdiness. However if you're looking for something to slow your dog down when eating i cant recommend this product. The gap round the bowl still is big enough to allow your dog to Very Quickly get through their food. We have to use this as a water bowl instead of a feeding bowl now.

Was confused by product description "small" AND "2600ml". But it's definitely a large bowl. Seems really sturdy, hardwearing & immovable with the rubber bottom - which is great as I bought especially for the Luosko German Shepherd Rescue in Stoke so will get plenty of use there. Would buy again if my dog was a speedy eater & needed one. Highly recommend.

Anche la sua forma funziona e così il mio pastore tedesco ora mangia più lentamente . Poi è facile e veloce da pulire . Venti euro ben spesi se consideriamo che durerà per tantissimi anni .

Wir haben seit einigen Monaten wieder einen Hund, einen Belgischen Schäferhund, der sich irgendwie zu einem ziemlich extremen Schlinger entwickelt hat. Das Problem war, daß er dadurch sehr viel gepupst hat und uns gefühlt fast verglast hat. Noch viel heftiger als das, ist aber die berechtigte Angst, das unser Wuffel eine Magen Drehung bekommen könnte, denn er ist ja noch sehr jung und kugelt sich mit Vorliebe durch sein Leben, er macht Rollen vorwärts, aber auch seitlich. Also ganz wunderbare Voraussetzungen für eine Magendrehung. Nebenbei hatte ich auch den massiven Eindruck, das er sich beim Fressen sehr stresst. Also machte ich mich auf die Suche nach einem Anti-Schling-Napf, aufgrund einer Kieferfehlstellung kamen die meisten einfach nicht in Frage. Außerdem wollte ich auch für mich einen pflegeleichten Napf, der erste den ich fand und gekauft hatte, war für ihn zu klein. Leider kann man bei vielen Näpfen die Maße nicht wirklich erkennen. Ein Problem, das wir tatsächlich auch bei diesem Napf hier vor dem Kauf hatten. Aber glücklicherweise passt dieser Napf einfach perfekt. Unser Wuffel isst damit deutlich langsamer und wir finden auch stressfreier, er pupst nur noch sehr wenig, wir sind also vollkommen zufrieden mit dem Erreichten. Auch lässt sich dieser Napf sehr einfach reinigen und er steht wirklich ziemlich fest, mit sehr viel Druck lässt er sich dennoch verschieben, aber da muss der Hund schon seitlich drücken, ansonsten bleibt dieser Napf dort wo man ihn hingestellt hat. Unser Belgier ist sehr groß und inzwischen gute 7 Monate alt, für ihn dieses Napf einfach perfekt. Ich kann diesen Napf daher absolut empfehlen, für uns ist er DER Preis-Leistungssieger.

Cette gamelle anti gloutonnerie est très efficace Dés le premier repas mon St Bernard à cesser de se jeter sur sa nouriture et de goinfrer Il est obligé de prendre son temps Par contre un bémol quand même mais dû a la commande et la livraison En effet pour le mode sous 2 jours ouvrés il n'est pas assez indiqué clairement 15 € de supplément et pour la livraison en cas d'absence le transporteur a juste laissé un mot dans la boite aux lettres indiquant que le colis était chez le voisin ! Et a savoir que mon voisin n'en avait rien a faire ,qu'il n'a rien signé et qu'il a ouvert le colis et l'a balancé sur ma haie....! J'ai téléphoné chez UPS qui m'ont indiqué que c'était comme cela ,a moins de demander une remise contre signature et que si grosso modo j'étais pas content de m'adresser à l'expéditeur donc Amazon
