I use knee braces to help mitigate patella tendinitis when hill walking. Having now used these on several lengthy hikes (note, they are sold singly not in pairs), I can thoroughly recommend them. They really do help support the patella better than other kinds I have used and are more comfortable due to the softer material plus are slightly cooler (and less bulky and don't slip, even when going downhill). There are cheaper alternatives but in this case, you get what you pay for i.e. a quality product.

Although the back of my knee does get a little pinched with the wrap around bands when I first put the brace on, it is worth it. I have found this better than my large metal bracketed knee braces that cost around £180. I will say that I have had those braces for 10 years now and that is probably why they don't give as much support, but this one, for me, has proved to be very effective.My patellas in both knees have a tendency to move out of where they're meant to be, which is pretty painful. I also had a nasty fall last September and did some damage to the meniscus of my right knee. The consultant basically said that I am going to have to live with my dodgy knees because I am too young to have them replaced - great! As I'm only just 50, I have no idea how long I am going to have to wait in pain to be 'old enough'. I have found the compression on the brace has (so far) stopped my patellas from shifting and reduced the pain from the meniscal injury, which has made walking the dog much more enjoyable. Also, this brace is much less bulky than my others, and also not as large - my other ones extend from mid-calf to mid-thigh, so are much longer than this.I took a chance on this, thinking that if I didn't find it of much help, then it had only cost me about £13, but I have found it so helpful that I am going to be purchasing another so I will have one for both knees. I definitely recommend it. And for the price, I think it is excellent. It has certainly helped with my particular issues. I can't explain how the pain felt, but it was getting very wearing on top of the fibromyalgia that I also suffer from. I am now in considerably less pain for a ridiculously low price. I'm so glad that I just decided to give it a try. And no, I'm not being paid for this review!

This knee support is good quality & wonderfully designed. Gives your knees the support they need without rolling down or undoing themselves. The 4 sturdy velcro straps offer a nice fit and it feels nice to wear. Family owned firm means great customer support in terms of return or refund if needed, would definitely buy again. 5 stars all the way here 👍

Relatively comfortable compared to other supports as has built-in sleeve which reduces sweaty, sticky feel. Also double straps above and below patella are much more supportive and comfortable than usual single centre strap across back of joint. Have been Wearing a knee braceat at work all day walking 30,000+ steps per day (according to my phone) for about 3 weeks, only had this 2 days and already feel noticeable improvement.

Not as supportive without the bars but definitely gets the work done, I bought this for my dad and he says it reliefs his pain but gets weak while walking

Used two for a week's skiing recently - Early march, and mostly sub-zero on the hills. Overall, felt they provided sufficient additional lateral support to boost confidence, and to minimise potential for tendon pain recurrence - my knees are not weak, but do flare up after significant impact/effort (eg inflamed after a recent 20k hike. Not sure they would have prevented that, but probably mitigated had I used them then). They felt a bit more comfortable (and less bulky) than the side brace Neo-G knee support I had used over recent years - partly because of the elasticated backing material that is positioned behind the knee and reduced the irritation of the straps there. Possibly as a result of that, they were also felt a little warmer - certainly had soaked up some sweat by the end of the day.Overall, v pleased with them.

Still playing football in my 50's but arthritis is starting to hurt my knees so I need a knee support occasionally. Tried a few before this—with straps, without straps, with a hole, without a hole etc, and they all share the common problem of slipping down my leg when I'm active, even those that claim not to, and frankly they annoy me so much I was about to give up and tolerate the discomfort but I thought I'd try one more and ordered one of these because it had a few features that were different from the rest i.e. the tubular design with the soft fabric at the back and the double straps.Have to say it's by far the best knee support I've tried. It gives plenty of support and doesn't budge while active for 90 minutes and I feel no discomfort in my knees. In fact I've had it on for over 3 hours before and it doesn't move at all and I completely forget it's there it's so comfortable.I only bought one but I'm tempted to order another either for the other knee or as a spare. Great product!

Comfortable fitting two fastening straps and two smaller fastening straps make the support secure so it doesn’t slip easily. It’s a quality support yes you can get cheaper ones but this is worth investing, nice feature too that the company tell you what to do if it doesn’t fit and make that right. Of all the straps I have bought and tried for horrendous painful osteoarthritis this is a brilliant product especially if you have to work with such a condition! I have had it for six months they are the best brace on the market like the side lines two on each side they protect the knee very clever . Before wearing these always had to put ice packs on my knees when I got home but don’t now that’s how good they are. Exous Thank You.
