I was looking for a smallish outdoor house to put in the yard for my Maine Coon cat. Since he's a big boy at around 18-20lbs or so, he's too big for most cat stuff. I decided on this house for a few reasons. Price, size, design, and it's just exactly what I needed. I picked this one over the similar houses (that had the door in the middle) because this one has space off to the side for better cover incase it's raining, snowing, or windy outside.It was pretty simple to put together with a couple of quirks. No tools needed and once everything was together, it looked just like the picture and was perfectly sturdy. It is big enough to fit about two large cats side by side. It's perfect for my cats needs and hopefully he will enjoy it.

i am so glad i went ahead and bought the these dog houses, despite the shipping cost which i am still grumbling over, i had been studying all kinds of back yard chicken coops, almost all of the had several complaints, i'm using two small dog houses i had and have fixed to door ways in the cage type chicken yard i bought them last year,i lock them in at night over night predator concerns they're just a year old chickens.the features to this dog house are exactly what i wanted and needed, nice wide entry door, a side door that folds open for easy access for gathering eggs and for hen housekeeping, the dog house now hen house has air vent will hose down easily, sweep out easily and will keep me from getting snake bite when the snakes wake up and smell the fresh eggs being laid.the house is sturdy should be water proof everything fit snugly and tightly together i will be bungee cording the houses to the yard cage so they can't be blown away by winds or torn away from larger predators.

Overall I do like the house. I have Chihuahuas and its great for them. I bought it for them to play in and hide from the big dogs and it's perfect for that. I would not recommend this house for someone looking to give shelter or warmth to an outside dog as the plastic is pretty thin. It looked very easy to put together at first but it was hard to get the sides on and seemed like the holes were not lined up. I ended up using the dining room table instead of the floor as I had better control and could see the problem better. Once the front and back are on they have to be pushed into place or the sides are not going to fit. Also, my little vent cover must have been damaged because there was nothing to click it in place at the bottom. I wrote to the seller and hope they can send me a good one.

Well as much as we really love this New House for our little friend, She has yet to use it! but it is a really good product and larger than we expected (after reading some of the reviews before purchase) maybe it wouldn't be suitable for a breed such as a Mastiff or a Great Dane :-) but for our furry little friend (a spoiled terrier 20lb.) we are very happy with it, Now if only she'll use it! I hope this gives some insight to other buyers. We currently have it indoors but it would also be suitable for outdoor use.

This little dog house has withstand the test of time my dog's use it, my cat uses it. It is so easy to clean, I just dabbed some soap on it. I don't even have to scrub it and spray it off with water. It comes out perfectly clean, it is amazing.

I have a family of 4 feral cats that I care for. I purchased this pet hut because my 4 like to sleep together. I couldn’t find an outdoor cat hut that would fit all 4 of them comfortably, so I tried this. This hut is perfect because not only does it hold all of the cats, one side of the hut is removable, giving them 2 ways to enter/exit their “condo” (for outdoor cats, it’s best that there be openings in case they have to escape quickly). It also has vents to allow air flow if you decide to leave the side on. I spray painted it green, to blend in with bushes around it, put a flat bed inside and on cold nights, I turn on their pet heating pad, which is under their bed, making their “duplex kitty condo with a view” extra cozy!!! They love it!! To those who care for or rescue feral cats…I would definitely recommend you get this!!Side note: the black cord you see in the first picture is the wire to their heating pad (don’t worry Cat lovin’ mommas, the actual wire is enclosed in a safety wire cover)

This doghouse is not big at all. It is made for a large wiener dog or smaller. I would not consider it a large doghouse at all. It does seem sturdy and has the roof in case of rain.

Easy to put together. Thought the entrance would be wider but it turned out to be ok. Not for really big dogs though. My pitbull enter and exits pretty good.
