I've not yet had an opportunity to use the harness ...
I've not yet had an opportunity to use the harness. I chose this one for ease of use and positive feedback seen on video. I'll leave subjective feedback after I get a chance to use it a few times.

I can swing again!!!
Have arm and strength problems and haven't been able to swing for quite a few months. I've looked at other harness but they were all cumbersome and very awkward. A friend told me about the DP and it's a godsend!! Very easy to wear and to dig with after you hit that target! Takes all the weight off the arm and elbow which allows me more time doing what I love !!! Thanks guys!!!!

Disappointed After Field Testing
I have a Minelab CTX-3030 and a Minelab E-Trac, both of which weigh about as much as boat anchors. I bought this sling for working the CTX with the 17" coil. The sling was easy to attach to the machine and to put on. The concept seemed simple enough, and I set out putting the sling through over 50 hours of field use. After the testing, I have come to the unfortunate conclusion that this sling was a waste of money. The design causes the sling to move a lot, and it tends to rub against the back of your neck. In fact, the motion drives your shirt collar down and rubs the sling material on your bare skin. The slight padding does nothing to alleviate the rubbing. The plastic connector clip seems flimsy, and will not connect properly if dirt or dust accumulates on it. I recommend washing it off frequently. The shoulder portion that connects to the detector moves a lot. I found myself constantly adjusting it in the field. When you disconnect the detector to dig a target, the shoulder part flaps around aimlessly and gets in the way of plug digging. I have taken to using a safety pin to pin it on my shirt at the beginning of my hunts. Bottom line, this is a sling and not a harness. Several design elements could have been changed to make this a better sling, but it is instead just a gimmicky waste of money. I cannot recommend the DetectorPro Detecting Pal and if I could have returned it, I would have.

Received in good time and shape
Received in good time and shape. As described, seems to work fine, but I haven't had time to give it a good work out. Seemed a tittle expensive for what it is. Anxious to try it out when ground warms up.

After a year of use....
After a year of use (I used it 2-3 times a week 3-4 hours a day for 13 months). All the stretch in the bungee is gone, the maker/supplier will not or can not sell replacement part. If they did you could keep a clip on a second detector. Problem #2 the pad that goes around the neck, all it does is slip down and leaves the 1 inch nylon strap to rub against the neck ( finally had to sew the pad in place to keep it where it belong). This was supposed to be an improvement from the mark II. But all they did was made it cheaper and less reliable. Version II had a neck pad that stayed in place with the use of velcro. The neck pad had more foam and was longer. Your were given two bungees clips, and the bungee was a much higher quality material. Last the clip was not a plastic squeeze clip but a nice aluminum carabiner style clip.So with the current model use it a year and throw it away.
