This chair is an absolute beast!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I weigh a little under 250 pounds, which is within the rating for most normal office chairs. But weight aside, a lot of chairs are just made too narrow. Not so with this one. The 500-pound rating may be a bit of overkill for me, but dang is it ever comfortable! The stock images don't do justice to just how big this chair is. So I'm including a picture of it next to my old regular-sized office chair for scale. It is not, however, too big. Sitting comfortably, my legs are just flush with the edges of the cushion, rather than hanging over the edges, as they are on every other office chair I've ever sat on.The cushion itself is perfect. Firm, but not hard. Not overly squishy, but plenty of give where needed. Another reviewer referred to it as memory foam, and that's not accurate, but it does have somewhat of a similar feel. The mesh back is great. Unlike lots of "ergonomic" chairs out there, this one actually fits the contours of my back. The lumbar support is good too! I couldn't tell from the product listing, but it's actually a separate cushion placed behind the mesh, and it's just right. You can also adjust it up and down if needed.Speaking of adjustments, there are plenty to be had here. There's the standard up/down/tilt, but additionally, the armrests are the most adjustable I've ever seen. For starters, when you install them, you can select where to place them, about an inch or so each inward or outward. Then once installed, they'll adjust further inward or outward, plus forward and backward, plus up and down, plus twisting to an angle. I love it!Assembly was straightforward and easy. But be advised, this chair is as heavy as it is big. I didn't have too much trouble assembling it by myself, but it definitely would have been more manageable with a partner.Quality wise, this chair is built like a tank. It's as solid as they come, and I have little doubt that every part of it will last for a long time. One reviewer said a wheel broke on their chair. I'm guessing that either they received a faulty wheel or that the wheels have been beefed up since they wrote that review, because the wheels I received are extremely thick. They are indeed plastic, but they're quite solid. I can't imagine them breaking under normal use, short of a pre-existing fault.I honestly have no complaints about this chair at all. It's exactly what it needs to be.

Feels good.
I'm a big guy. I won't get into details but I can say that this chair does feel pretty comfortable. I work 10hr shifts at home and my last office chair was causing my back to ache, even after being used to it and using it for many years for occasional PC usage. My previous chair is/was pleather and was styled as an exec. office chair so it has a high back and seat but felt a bit constricting (in terms of the width) and the seat is/was hard on my rump after sitting for anywhere close to more than 3 hrs. I found this chair online after searching Amazon for some time and decided to try it out, this time taking into detailed account the actual dimensions of the entire chair and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised. The only regret I can say I have right now is that I went with a mesh-backed chair. I'm used to the longer back seat where I can rest my head when I felt like it. I decided to purposefully skip that this time around because we have a clingy kitty that likes to perch on that type of seat backing when I'm trying to work (she also like to sharpen her claws on the material, (in spite of the many of those products we have spread throughout our home specifically made for that) - I work on the phone so having her "meow" and do all of that is a no-no. While I feel that this chair keeps my spine/back aligned and my body in good posture while sitting upright, laying my head back to rest is no longer an option and I do miss that. Also, while more than adequately wide, this chair feels a tad shallow, that is, it feels like it could stand to be an inch or 2 longer. It's not something that is affecting me negatively right now, it just feels "off" from the executive office chair feeling I'm accustomed to. Finally, this is my first "clothy" chair so I have no idea how long it will stand the test of time or what to expect in terms of durability, etc. My first office chair was leather and lasted almost 10 years, I'd still have it today if I knew the base/hydraulics could have been swapped out (at the time). My second and third were pleather (faux leather or whatever you call that) and lasted about 5 years but eventually, the material started peeling and the base (seats) broke in some spectacular fashion. The chair I replaced is pleather, has a thousand holes from our cat and the handles are all messed up, it's ready to be dumped, truthfully. It has served me for 7 good years. It'll be interesting to see how cloth does. My next chair will likely be real leather as that does seem to last long term.In the end, I really like this chair. It's comfortable, even after 10hrs of consistent use, feels very well constructed, was very easy to build and was pretty affordable. I don't think anyone would be disappointed with this purchase so I recommend it.

Heavy and strong support
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. What I like the most is the support of the chair. It was built to last and everything about it is about heavy and strong material. Hence, it can support up to 500 lb in weight. Anyone can use this chair and still feel comfortable. Along with strong support, the back rest also has its own cushion which can rise up and down to support certain spot on my back. This is the most unique feature about this chair. Additionally, the chair itself still have the fundamental features. I still can rise the chair up and down with its control at the bottom of the seat (standard location). Leaning back is not a missing feature. Even though I couldn’t lean back too much further but it is still great. Once again, I’ve provided an installation video to help people to install it themselves and be careful because everything about it is heavy. Great chair and great support. That’s all I expected from this chair.

it is plenty wide
I am 5'7" and 400 lb. The chair has plenty of room for my hips and that was my biggest concern. The cushion is good and thick. Easy assembly. The arms will adjust to any need. Only drawback, it does not recline and the back does not lean back. The top of the chair is not comfortable to rest your head against. I am happy with the chair overall. I use a Steelcase chair at my work office and had to move to home office due to COVID. I was looking for a chair that was affordable but would offer me the ability to sit comfortably for long periods of time. I miss my Steelcase chair but this is an acceptable alternative. I work 12 hours a day/3 days a week and so far, it is working very well for me. If you have carpet, you will want to purchase a mat for it roll on, does not do well on carpet.
