One of the most useful language-learning tools out there
I first came across vocabulary notebooks years ago in Germany, where they are very popular and easy to find. They are just simple notebooks with a vertical line down the middle of each page. You write the target language on one side (usually the left) and English on the other. You use them to learn vocabulary or (very) short phrased culled from your reading or study course. Each day you try to memorise one or two sides, then check by covering the target side. Use your 'failures' to start the list for the next day. It REALLY works, for any language, and IMO is much better than any electronic equivalent. These are solid little notebooks - they have to be if used daily - the cover doesn't come off and the paper is thick enough for easy writing with a biro or pencil. Just great, will re-order when this lot run out.

Vocabulary Notebooks
These slim vocabulary notebooks are extremely useful. Each page is divided with a narrow, red line, which allows you to use them for writing vocabulary words for revision purposes. My son learns French and Latin at school, so he likes to write new words in, for example, Latin to English and English to Latin; allowing me to test him easily if he has exams coming up. I also use them for my younger daughters spelling tests, which come home from school on sheets of paper and this keeps the year's keywords together. Very good value for money and easier than constantly printing up lists, which get lost or crumpled, these are small and easy for any student (regardless of age or level) to keep in a pocket during exam times when they are revising.

Ideal for my child and practicing spellings.

Small exercise books
We use the books for our weekly quiz, would have preferred them without a centre red line on each page but it can be ignored.

I like them!
I didn’t realise that there was a margin line in the middle of the pages which I wasn’t thrilled about at first, however that’s my mistake and I’m not taking a star away because of my own stupidity 😂... Either way these notebooks are really good. I can make lists with them and if I need to I can ignore the line and just write over it. I am going to use them as planning notebooks, such as books for holidays, Christmas, general notes, etc. They are a really nice size, I can fit them into by handbag easily and travel around with them rather than having pieces of paper to lose. Great product.
